Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled TA/SD Integrated Schedule & Control Planner to lead and manage the turnaround/shutdown (TA/SD) planning and controls system. This role is responsible for maintaining a single integrated master schedule, driving progress control, and ensuring disciplined execution across all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Integrated Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop and manage the TA/SD master schedule with clear logic, milestones, and critical path
  • Maintain baseline schedules, revisions, and phased execution plans
  • Produce look-ahead plans (4–8 weeks readiness; daily during shutdown)
  • Integrate contractor scope, dependencies, and execution sequencing

2. Progress Tracking & Reporting

  • Establish a standardized progress measurement system
  • Monitor planned vs. actual progress and perform variance analysis
  • Prepare daily controls reports and milestone updates
  • Forecast completion timelines and restart readiness

3. Constraints & Risk Management

  • Maintain a centralized constraints log with clear ownership and deadlines
  • Track and escalate critical issues impacting schedule delivery
  • Ensure timely resolution with proper documentation

4. Scope & Change Control

  • Manage scope change register and assess impact on schedule/resources
  • Ensure approved changes are reflected in planning and reporting tools

5. Stakeholder & Contractor Coordination

  • Support governance routines (weekly readiness, daily execution reviews)
  • Coordinate inputs across operations, HSSE, procurement, and engineering teams
  • Monitor contractor performance and progress reporting

6. Tie-in & Project Integration

  • Manage tie-in activities during TA windows
  • Track readiness requirements and integrate into overall schedule

7. Contractor Controls & Contract Support

  • Track contractor progress, performance metrics, and mobilization
  • Maintain variation order (VO) and claim documentation records
  • Provide support for contract administration (non-approval role)


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Have any of below certifications will be an advantage:
    • Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
    • Reliability / Asset Management
    • Project Management (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance planning (static & rotating equipment)
  • Familiar with TA/shutdown planning concepts and execution controls
  • Experience with EAM systems (work orders, job plans, scheduling)
  • Excellent coordination, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
  • Minimum 8 years in industrial maintenance (O&G, chemical, refining, utilities) and minimum 3 years in planning, scheduling, or workpack development
  • Proven experience in:
    • Schedule management & backlog control
    • Materials coordination and planning governance
    • Weekly schedule compliance reporting
  • Exposure to contractor scope planning (scaffolding, insulation, cleaning, NDT)
  • Hands-on understanding of equipment maintenance planning
