Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on and driven Facilities & Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in civil engineering or facilities management to oversee the end-to-end performance, reliability, and compliance of our site’s infrastructure and building systems.

In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations, while driving continuous improvement, asset reliability, and cost-effective maintenance strategies across office, plant, and infrastructure facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Facilities Operations & Maintenance

  • Manage daily maintenance activities for buildings, utilities, and infrastructure systems
  • Ensure critical systems (HVAC, elevators, sewage, ventilation, fire protection) operate safely and efficiently
  • Plan and track preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Respond to breakdowns and resolve facility issues in a timely manner
  • Identify recurring issues and implement improvement actions to enhance reliability

Compliance & Asset Management

  • Maintain records of facilities assets, inspections, and service history
  • Coordinate statutory inspections, certifications, and regulatory compliance
  • Ensure all infrastructure meets safety, health, and environmental requirements
  • Monitor asset condition and recommend repair, replacement, or upgrades

Facilities Improvement & Projects

  • Lead building repairs, refurbishment, and infrastructure enhancement projects
  • Develop scopes of work, cost estimates, and execution plans for approved works
  • Coordinate civil and structural activities such as roads, drainage, and building repairs
  • Ensure smooth execution with minimal disruption to operations

Vendor & Contractor Management

  • Manage contractors and service providers for maintenance and project work
  • Monitor performance in terms of safety, quality, cost, and timeline
  • Support procurement activities, including technical evaluations and scope clarification

HSE & Audit Support

  • Ensure all work complies with HSE standards and safe working practices
  • Participate in audits, inspections, and risk assessments
  • Support resolution of audit findings and maintain readiness for compliance reviews

Reporting & Cost Control

  • Prepare reports on facility condition, maintenance performance, and compliance status
  • Monitor and manage maintenance costs within approved budgets
  • Maintain proper documentation for maintenance, inspections, and audits

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Facilities Engineering, or related field
  • Certifications in Facilities Management, HVAC, Fire Protection, or Project Management are an advantage
  • Knowledge of building services systems (HVAC, fire protection, sewage, elevators)
  • Understanding of preventive maintenance and inspection practices
  • Familiar with statutory compliance and industrial safety requirements
  • Basic civil and structural maintenance knowledge
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience managing contractors and service providers
  • Good organizational and reporting skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and preferably CMMS/EAM systems
