We are on the hunt for a sharp, detail-oriented Senior Digital Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. You will play a key part in the digital transformation of complex business and data requirements into clear, actionable insights that will drive our business processes and guide our business decisions to contribute to our continued growth and success. This role demands close collaboration with diverse departments to fully grasp their business and data requirements and deliver top-notch digital solutions that address real business challenges and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand business challenges for oil & gas industry, with focus on commodity trading, commercial and supply chain operations to design digital business solutions addressing the challenges
  • Support discussions with various business functions, e.g. sales, commercial, operations, market intelligence and finance teams to understand the detailed business requirements
  • Analyzed, design and document business requirements and solution design, involving detailed functional specifications and technical solution design.
  • Support the translation of high-level business objectives into detailed business process, technical requirement, and implementation plans.
  • Support solution delivery & implementation, including to test, validate, and deploy new solutions and digital capabilities.
  • On-going support for digital solutions, including optimization and enhancement when translating business requirements to digital solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in information system, technology, or business
  • 6-8 years of experience in commercial, supply chain, manufacturing or logistic, with focus supporting digital projects or business system analysis & design, oil & gas or commodity trading related industry would be a plus
  • Experience with business applications like e.g. ERP, CRTM/ETRM, SCM, advanced data analytics, GenAI or other digital business systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on supporting the design of real-world solutions
  • Good understanding of general business, oil & gas/commodity trading and supply chain operations, data flows, and performance metrics
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate between business teams & technical team, developing business process and requirements to technical team, and support project delivery
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English is a must Mandarin considered as a plus.
