AI Solution Architect

About the Role

We are seeking an AI Solution Architect to serve as the company’s principal AI Subject Matter Expert. This role will lead the architecture and technical direction of AI solutions from concept to production. You will define how our organization leverages advanced AI capabilities—ranging from large language and multimodal models to agentic and machine learning systems—to deliver real business impact.

This position is ideal for a senior professional with a strong technical foundation in AI/ML and solid software engineering judgment, who can translate business challenges into system designs and implementation strategies. You will partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to create practical, high‑value AI applications that enhance efficiency, decision‑making, and sustainability outcomes across our operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Serve as the principal AI subject‑matter expert, support executive‑level communication for AI initiatives and translation of business priorities into an AI roadmap, investment cases, and measurable value
• Collaborate with internal business stakeholders, including but not limited to commercial, supply chain, operations, finance, to translate strategic business objectives into an enterprise AI architecture plan encompassing data, model, and workflow layers
• Define architecture standards and reusable frameworks for LLM‑based, multimodal, and agentic systems across the organization

Solution Architecture, Delivery & Governance

• Lead end‑to‑end architecture of AI‑driven solutions, integrating foundation models, reasoning agents, and data pipelines within enterprise systems.
• Define target operating and deployment models for AI (MLOps, model lifecycle management, versioning, governance, and observability)
• Establish governance frameworks for data lineage, model validation, and responsible AI use
• Provide technical leadership to development team (including offshore), ensuring solutions meet performance, cost, and reliability objectives
• Partner with internal / external teams to ensure architectures meet enterprise security, scalability, and compliance standards

Innovation & Technical Excellence

• Maintain deep familiarity with rapidly evolving AI ecosystems—retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, orchestration agents, and multi‑agent workflows
• Evaluate new frameworks and contribute to reference implementations that accelerate future deployment across business domains
• Mentor and upskill development team on AI system design, responsible AI practices, and architectural best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics or a related quantitative discipline with a strong AI focus
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, data analytics, software/data engineering (incld. AI integration and agentic solutions), or digital transformation
• Proven track record architecting and delivering large‑scale, AI‑enabled applications or platforms integrating LLMs, ML models, and data systems
• Expertise in Python and modern AI/machine learning frameworks
• Strong knowledge of AI orchestration and MLOps practices, including data pipeline management, model deployment, and workflow automation
• Deep understanding of model lifecycle, including fine‑tuning, evaluation, monitoring, and responsible AI practices
• Familiarity with enterprise data architectures (data lakes, feature stores, event‑driven pipelines) and integration with operational technology systems.
• Communication skills to articulate technical tradeoffs, architectural decisions, and business value to executives and non‑technical stakeholders
• Experience in bioenergy, sustainability, or advanced manufacturing is advantageous.Proficiency in English; Mandarin considered a plus
