Job Purpose:

  • True business partner role, gain full understanding of business nature, structure, organization model, leadership style, exposure formulating people plans and strategies Excellent Project Exposure across the region
  • Work closely with management team to solve people related challenges
  • This person doesn’t only execute projects, but also plan and design HR strategies, set objectives and formulate talent projects for the business

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a business partner and provide quality HR advisory services to the business
  • Liaise with line managers and ensure excellent execution of wide spectrum of HR services including manpower planning, sourcing, performance management and talent development
  • Providing advice to leadership teams and people managers on the company HR strategy and agenda, such as performance management, talent & development, compensation, etc., and implementing the related policies and processes
  • Enabling a sustainable high performance workplace including consulting on leadership, structure, culture and talent management
  • Responsible for supporting the implementation of the organizational change agenda including transformational projects and restructuring
  • Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring HR strategies to meet the operational and business objectives
  • You will also play a critical role in building a strong HR presence in the business and driving key HR projects across the region
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as and when required

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of HRBP experience, ideally from a multinational firm
  • Experience in the energy related industry or manufacturing sector preferred
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across locations representing a solution-oriented way of working, collaboration and ability to constructively challenge the status quo
  • Sound understanding of appropriate employment legislation and how to manage employee relations matters in accordance with policy & law, with demonstrable counselling and conflict resolution skills
  • Energetic and able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to cultivate change and drive new initiatives across the business
  • Strong problem-solving skill and highly attentive to details
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
