Job Purpose:

Our Technology, Research & Innovation team operates at the intersection of multiple disciplines, including Renewable Feedstock Technology, Catalyst Technology, Process Technology, and Engineering. This unique, integrated perspective allows you to gain a comprehensive understanding of how these areas interact and collaborate. As an Assistant Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the technology development process, contributing to innovative solutions while gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Support senior engineers in developing technical drawings, simulations, and process designs for bio-refineries.
  • Use tools like AutoCAD, Aspen, or ANSYS, for modeling sustainable production systems.
  • Analyze data from operational plants (e.g., HEFA facilities) to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot on-site challenges
  • Contribute to R&D projects, such as converting waste into renewable fuels or scaling carbon-neutral energy systems.
  • Work on lifecycle assessments (LCAs) and ensure projects align with global sustainability standards (e.g., ISCC).
  • Learn from industry experts in chemical, mechanical, and environmental engineering.
  • Get hands-on training in project management, stakeholder engagement, and advanced technical tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, or Energy Engineering and Material Science (final-year students or recent graduates welcome).
  • Curiosity about renewable energy, process engineering, or bio-based technologies.
  • Basic proficiency in CAD, data analysis tools.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset—turning complex challenges into actionable solutions.
